My New Goodreads Author Page!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Summer is in full swing now! Cookouts, swimming, fireworks, and plenty of time to sit back and relax with a good book. If you’ve never heard of Goodreads, it’s a fantastic place to find new book and discuss your favorites with other book lovers. There are tons of things to do over on Goodreads and if you love reading, then you’ve GOT to check them out. I personally love their reading trackers that help you set a goal for the year, which I’ve been trying to get better at, I have to admit. You can also read book reviews or write your own, save a list of books you want to read in the future, and even ask your favorite authors questions!

I’ve been using the Goodreads app for about eight months but now, I’ve finally have my own Author’s Page! (Oh my god! =D) My first story, Starling’s Again which is being released on July 28th, is already up on there and has it’s first review! That blew my mind. In the whole journey of getting published and becoming a writer, getting your first review is like seeing the light at the end of a long tunnel. All that work and it’s finally being seen and appreciated! It’s an honor. Check it out!

I’m so super excited about this. Between social media accounts and my author pages on Amazon, Goodreads, and Pride-Publishing.com, it’s all feeling like it’s finally coming together. The writing journey is long, but well worth it, and I truly urge anyone that has ever wanted to write their own book, screenplay, poetry, or WHATEVER, to just do it! Really! What’s stopping you? Even if it’s just a little bit everyday, that’s all it takes. There are SO many people out there who are willing to help you along the way (me included!) so please reach out, give it a try, and see where it takes you. =)

And again, really, if you love books then check out Goodreads. I’m not being paid or anything, I just think it’s a really fun place for book lovers and writers alike. While you’re there, pop over and check me out too (at my profile HERE) and see what books I’m currently reading. I’ve just started Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self by Robert Waggoner, which is all about exploring and honing your skills in lucid dreaming to help boost your creativity and explore your inner ego and subconsciousness. What about you? What books are you currently reading and loving? Let me know!

Thanks for reading, and stayed tuned for more!
